- [Will my cleaning day change?](https://cleancans.com/faq/will-my-cleaning-day-change/): Your service will continue the day after trash pickup (or the most practical day if trash and recycling fall separately). If there are any route or service day changes, we’ll always let you know in advance and send reminders by text and email 2 days and 1 day before your cleaning.

- [I have been billed but haven’t received service yet, when will you come out?](https://cleancans.com/faq/i-have-been-billed-but-havent-received-service-yet-when-will-you-come-out/): The credit card you used on signup is billed on the 1st day of the month after your first trash can cleaning service. You may notice that you have been billed but not received service yet. We don’t schedule our routes to deliver service on billing dates. Logistically this would be very difficult and would result in an inefficient route for us. We schedule each calendar month’s service according to stated garbage pickup days, geographic location, subscription status and for route efficiency - if your subscription is active and paid, barring extraneous circumstances, we will have you on schedule for the calendar month that corresponds with your payment. You will receive a text message notification to let you know the night before service that we will be coming out to clean your can.
- [How am I billed?](https://cleancans.com/faq/how-am-i-billed/): You are billed monthly for your service.  Once your first cleaning has been completed, your renewal will be in advance of subsequent cleanings on the 1st of each month.
- [Do you have a referral program?](https://cleancans.com/faq/do-you-have-a-referral-program/): You can log in to your Account Dashboard and refer as many friends, family or co-workers as you want via email or social media. If they use your referral link to signup for service, you'll receive a credit towards your service also!

We ask that you call us at 321-402-4470 or send us a message to make arrangements.
- [Can I change or switch out cans on my plan?](https://cleancans.com/faq/can-change-switch-cans-plan/): The simple answer is no.  Our Clean Scan™ Notification System relies on the unique barcode we attach to each can.
- [Why does my can not look like new?](https://cleancans.com/faq/can-not-look-like-new/): As much as we would love to wave a magic wand and make every trash can look brand, spanking new after we have cleaned it… often, it is just not possible.
- [What happens if Clean Cans doesn’t get out to service my cans within my billing cycle?](https://cleancans.com/faq/happens-clean-cans-doesnt-get-service-cans-within-billing-cycle/): If we are unable or miss your monthly trash can cleaning service due to a fault at our end, you will be credited for the next month’s service.

- [What if I am out of town?](https://cleancans.com/faq/what-if-i-am-out-of-town/): If you are out of town, on vacation or there is another reason preventing you from having your trash cans available for us to clean, please give us as much notice as possible to allow us to reschedule.
- [What if I don’t leave my cans out and miss service?](https://cleancans.com/faq/dont-leave-cans-miss-service/): If you don’t leave your trash can out on your service day, after we have sent prior notification, we don’t usually arrange for a revisit. In some cases where our scheduling and route allows, we may try to reschedule one more time for that month’s cleaning.
- [How do I know my cans have been cleaned?](https://cleancans.com/faq/know-cans-cleaned/): Using our Clean Scan™ Technology, upon cleaning your trash can you will receive an automated text message from us and your online Clean Cans account will be updated with the date of cleaning.
- [How do I know when you are coming out to clean my trash cans?](https://cleancans.com/faq/know-coming-clean-trash-cans/): You will receive a text message the night before we provide service to let you know that we will be out and to leave your can(s) in an easily accessible location for us to clean. We will return cans to this location after cleaning.
- [When will you begin cleaning my trash cans?](https://cleancans.com/faq/will-begin-cleaning-trash-cans/): We try to get you on our trash can cleaning schedule as soon as possible after signup. Sometimes it can take up to 2 weeks for us to get you on schedule due to the logistics of cleaning trash cans behind so many different city and municipal solid waste pickup routes!
