Can Cleaning is a tough job, and sanitizing hundreds of stinky trash receptacles can really work up an appetite! After a long day cleaning cans I like to unwind with a delicious meal, but sometimes I’m just too tired to cook! So I round up Mrs. Clean Can and the Clean Cans Kid and head over to Disney Springs. Once we get there, there’s one more hurdle to overcome…where to eat?
With all the dining options at Disney Springs it can be tough to make a decision on where to sit down for a great meal. Have no fear, #TeamCleanCans, because in addition to being Central Florida’s #1 Trash Can Cleaner I’m also a self-proclaimed food critic!
So sit back and prepare your taste buds for Mr. Clean Can’s 3 best restaurants at Disney Springs!
#3 – Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
Who doesn’t love some good old southern comfort food? I sure do, and that’s why “Homecoming” makes my list of the best restaurants at Disney Springs. From the décor to the drinks, Chef Art sure knows how to make a can-cleaner feel at home.
If you’ve never been before, I suggest starting off with the Bunch of Puppies, which are freshly-fried hush puppies that come with sides of red jalapeño jelly and pimento cheese for dipping. If you’re feeling especially hungry, or you like to share, get the Thigh High Chicken Biscuits too.
For your main course, you also can’t go wrong with Art’s Famous Fried Chicken. For those of you with a sweet tooth, you can opt for the Fried Chicken & Doughnuts. Either way, save room for dessert!
The Hummingbird Cake will make you second guess ordering an appetizer! It’s a layered pineapple banana cake covered in cream cheese frosting, served with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. Definitely one of my favorites, and another reason why Homecoming makes it into my top 3 best restaurants at Disney Springs.

#2 – Splitsville
It always seems like the Clean Cans family can’t agree on what kind of food we feel like eating. Mrs. Clean Can wants sushi, the Clean Cans Kid wants pizza, and I want a juicy burger. That’s why Splitsville comes in at #2 on my list of best restaurants at Disney Springs. Plus, in addition to a wide variety of delicious foods, you can also get in a few games of bowling!
The Splitsville menu has something for everyone, including burgers, specialty salads, pizza, salmon, and even sushi! I know what you’re thinking, ‘Sushi, at a bowling alley?’ Normally I’d think the same thing, but Splitsville is more of a restaurant first and a bowling alley second (despite the bowling-esque name).
If spicy American fare is more your style, try the Buffalo Chicken sandwich or the Foghorn Burger, both of which pack a little kick sure to get you reaching for your drink. Speaking of drinks (for the grown-ups) I recommend the Swampwater, a frozen blue raspberry lemonade with 151 rum and grain alcohol.
No matter what we’re in the mood for, Splitsville always seems to have something delicious that fits the bill!
Mr. Clean Can Recommends: Fig & Pig Flatbread
#1, STK
Last but not least, coming in at #1 on my list of best restaurants at Disney Springs, is STK. This modern, high-energy steakhouse has a great atmosphere, impeccable service, and mouth-watering cuts of beef. STK is also the perfect place for a date night with your significant other…Mrs. Clean Can approves!
If you like music, ask for a table on the first floor, where a DJ plays some outstanding music while you enjoy your meal. For a “quieter” evening, you can opt to sit upstairs, where there’s a more laid back atmosphere to compliment your conversation.
For starters, order the Shaved Brussels Sprouts…you won’t be disappointed! I like to pair them with a cold STK Mule, served in a signature STK copper mug. You’ll also be delighted with their freshly baked bread served in a cast iron
skillet, topped with melted blue-cheese butter, and a side of pesto sauce.
Don’t fill up on bread, because you’ll need room for the steak! STK gives you plenty of options, and splits them up by size into small (6-10oz), medium (10-14oz) and large (16-30oz) sections on the menu. I’m a sucker for their 18oz Dry-Aged Bone-In Sirloin, to which I add a Peppercorn Crust. You can choose to add your preferred toppings including King Crab, Maine Lobster, Shrimp, and over 8 different sauces. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
I almost forgot the sides! You’ll want to get a few and share them, but my personal favorites are the Creamy Yukon Potatoes and the Mac & Cheese. From the selection to the service, STK really knows how to treat a can-cleaner after a long day at work, and that’s why they’ve earned the top spot among my best restaurants at Disney Springs!

In Closing…
Despite my detailed reviews and recommendations, Mrs. Clean Can likes to remind me that I’m not really a food critic. There are a LOT of other amazing restaurants at Disney Springs, and maybe your top 3 differs from mine, so I’d like to hear from you!
