Meet Steven

OWNER

Originally from Scotland and made the move to sunny Florida in 2007 with my entrepreneurial spirit in tow. Together with my wonderful wife, we owned and operated a swimming pool service and maintenance business, which soon led us to start CleanFast, a pressure washing business specializing in retail and shopping centers across Florida.

In January 2017, we saw a need for a fresh service and thus Clean Cans was born, an idea which I had once whimsically dreamt up in a university marketing elective where I crafted a business plan for a fictional trash can cleaning company called Wheelie Clean!

When I’m not busy with CleanFast or Clean Cans, you’ll often find me on the soccer field, my favorite hobby. A fun fact about me is that I once won a triathlon that involved canoeing, mountain biking, and hill running.

At home, we have a lively household with our 12-year-old son, our 4-year-old daughter, and a four-legged team member named Angus – a miniature golden mountain doodle!

What I appreciate most about being part of the Clean Cans team is watching how our collective efforts push the business in the right direction. I am immensely proud of our team’s dedication to providing a service that our customers truly love. Here’s to keeping your cans clean!

Meet Amanda

Division Manager

Originally hailing from sunny South Florida, she moved to central Florida when she was 4 years old making her a true Winter Garden local, proudly representing, Lake Whitney, Lakeview, West Orange and UCF Alumni.

After working for her family’s business in the paver industry for 10 years Amanda’s journey led her out West to Portland, Oregon in 2018, where she honed her skills in office management and social media within the outdoor living industry. In 2021, she made her triumphant return to Winter Garden to be closer to her cherished family and friends.

Off the clock, you’ll find Amanda rocking out at concerts, exploring theme parks, and cherishing quality time with her sassy 2 1/2-year-old daughter, Belle. When her creative juices flow, she designs unique and fun event invitations for her Etsy shop and whips up delicious Brazilian treats in the kitchen.

Fun fact: Amanda is a resilient single mother, and her strong-willed daughter, Belle, was born at 25 weeks with a congenital heart defect, making her a true little fighter!

At Clean Cans, Amanda thrives in a welcoming and nurturing environment that encourages personal and professional growth. She’s elated to be part of a team that feels like family and values respect above all else. With a passion for learning and a heart for community, Amanda is our rockstar Division Manager who ensures everything runs smoothly!

In his free time, you can catch Ben spinning beats as a DJ, conquering heavy weights at the gym, or delving into the captivating world of video games. But his true passion lies in exploring the annals of world history, and he’s your go-to source for intriguing historical tidbits!

Did you know that behind Ben’s laid-back demeanor lies an impressive skill? He can effortlessly recite countless movie monologues, earning him the title of our movie guru. And in his pet-filled world, he’s a proud owner of 3 dogs and a cat, creating his own furry fan club.

When he’s not busy keeping your cans spick and span, Cameran is all about the chill life. Whether shooting hoops on the basketball court, conquering virtual worlds in video games, or engaging in some friendly paintball action, he knows how to unwind.

At home, Cameran shares his space with not one, not two, but four furry friends who keep him on his toes—a true dog lover, indeed! And here’s a nugget of wisdom: if you want to win him over, just serve up a plate of mac ‘n cheese. His obsession with it is legendary (we blame it on the Gen Z vibes).

Senior Field Operator

Born and raised in the heart of Central Florida, this Apopka resident is a true local lad. By day, Thomas is our expert field technician, and by night, he’s a shower concert sensation, belting out tunes like a rockstar (bathrobe and all).

A self-proclaimed foodie, Thomas has an unapologetic love affair with all things delicious. His metabolism might be the eighth wonder of the world, considering the culinary feats he conquers.

Off-duty, you’ll find him taking orders from his adorable two-year-old, the true boss of the household.

What keeps Thomas grooving with Clean Cans? It’s the infectious vibes and the family-like atmosphere. He loves that everyone is passionate about making every team member feel valued and included. Join us in applauding Thomas, the melody master, who turns cleaning into a symphony!

Oh, and did we mention he’s a Sagittarius? “That explains everything!” according to Jose—adventurous, passionate, and always up for a challenge.

Jose loves working with Clean Cans, where the team feels like family. He’s soaking up knowledge and leadership tips from the boss man Steven, and takes pride in bringing excellence to everything he does. We’re lucky to have Jose’s positive energy and dedication on our team!
