Is your dog in need of some new scenery to chase a ball or make new dog friends?  There are plenty of dog parks to take your pup in Orlando, but which ones are the best? Mr. Clean Can has some great recommendations for you!

Lake Baldwin Park

With over 23 acres of space for your dog to run around, Lake Baldwin is one of the most popular parks in the Orlando area. It’s the only dog friendly park in the city. This park has a sandy beach, plenty of shade, and so much more. During the hours of 8 A.M. until sunset, your dog is allowed to be off-leash here. There’s even a dog wash station available for your pup after a long day of playing in the sand! One visitor states it’s a “Great place to let your dogs run in a safe environment.” Located at 2000 S. Lakemont Ave. Winter Park, FL, you can visit every day, however, Lake Baldwin Park is closed on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month until 12 P.M. for maintenance.

Park of the Americas

Park of the Americas is located at 201 Andes Avenue, Orlando, FL. This is a beautiful park with nice paths to walk on while you take in the picturesque scenery. They have a great dog park with separate areas if you wish to separate your dog based off size. This is a large fenced in area with plenty of space for your pup to run and play leash free! They even have some features that are fun for the dogs to play on and in, such as concrete tunnels, and so on. Your dog’s also allowed in the rest of the park outside of the dog park area, as long as they are on their leash. Park of the Americas is open from 7 A.M. until 9 P.M., and the area is very well lit, so you don’t have to worry if you are there after dark!

Barber Dog Park

Another fantastic option for dog owners to take their pups to play is Barber Dog Park. It’s located at 3701 Gaitlin Ave, Orlando, FL and is open in the Spring & Summer every day from 8 A.M. until 8 P.M., and in the Fall & Winter from 8 A.M. until 6 P.M. While there isn’t a lake for your dogs to splash around in, there is plenty of open space and even agility equipment to use to exercise your pups! This park also has separate areas to keep dogs of certain sizes together as a safety precaution. Barber Dog Park also has a dog wash station, and has plenty of shaded seating for you while you let your dog run free!
