Cooler weather is finally on the way (we hope!) so you might be looking for some fun things to do in Clermont. Well you’re in luck! From food trucks to Farmer’s Markets, this September has some exciting events happening. Here’s a look at what’s coming up.
Farmer’s Market in Downtown Clermont Every Sunday
When we say Farmer’s Market, what do you think? Likely images of fresh produce, seafood, a bakery and stalls selling handmade crafts pop up.
With over 60 vendors, Clermont’s Farmer’s Market does not disappoint. Head on over and enjoy the food trucks, cooking demonstrations and specialty vendors.
They’re open every Sunday from 9AM to 1PM.
Enjoy Food and Dance at Sips and Salsa
Take a visit to a lively event that celebrates all things salsa. Whether you want to take a bite of some tasty cuisine or put on your dancing shoes, this is the place!
Sips and Salsa will feature chihuahua races, a salsa competition, a dominoes tournament and more. Grab the kids and head over to the kid zone for some fun activities.
Make sure you mark your calendars for September 14th. The event kicks off and 2PM and goes ‘til 10.
Celebrate Thursdays with Alive After 5
You won’t have to look for things to do in Clermont on Thursdays. Every week, Downtown Clermont will host Alive After 5 – featuring special events, seasonal sales and new vendors.
Support your local businesses by browsing the wine shop, clothing stores, gift shops and more. Afterward, bring your retail receipt to either Suncreek Brewery or Clermont Brewing Company and enjoy 10% off your meal.
Bacchus Vino Etcetera will also host free weekly wine tastings from 6PM to 8PM.
Food trucks are all the rage these days, allowing small businesses to share their specialty dishes without a brick and mortar restaurant.
Downtown Clermont celebrates them on the first Friday of every month with an event that brings together live music and tasty eats.
It’s the perfect event for picky eaters as you can buy from separate food trucks and meet to eat together. Choose from Piles of Pasta, Indian Spice Affair and plenty more!
Pinkies up at this special Wine and Cheese Festival, happening September 14-15. Enjoy a complimentary wine sampling complete with perfectly paired bites of cheese.
The event happens at Lakeridge Winery and includes free live music, and wine, beers or food for purchase. Tickets are only $10 per person and children 12 and under are free. Buy your tickets in advance or pay at the door!
Enjoy Old Favorite Things to Do in Clermont
As always, there are old favorites that locals and visitors both can enjoy. Take a stroll down Clermont’s Historic Village or stop for a sunset walk at the Waterfront Park. Don’t forget to stop by Lake Minneola for a stroll on the beach or along one of the manicured foot paths.
