Halloween is just around the corner, and everyone is looking for something to get them in the “Halloween spirit”. Thankfully, for anyone in Central Florida, it isn’t too difficult to find Halloween events to take part in! But, which ones are the best to check out? That’s what Mr. Clean Can is here for! He has narrowed down the list to his top recommendations for Halloween events in the area!
Halloween at Old Town
Halloween at Old Town is always a fun time, and is perfect for the whole family! On Halloween, you’ll be able to trick-or-treat at candy stations around Old Town from 4-6 PM. Following this, be sure to catch the “Thriller Dancers” performing in front of the Old Town Stage at 7:50 PM, 8:50 PM, and 9:50 PM. Be sure to dress up in costume as well, since there will be a costume contest at 6 PM, and maybe you or someone in your family could win! Wrap the night up with a screening of Hocus Pocus for family movie night, which will be showing at dusk. We guarantee you and your family will have good, wholesome fun while celebrating Halloween at Old Town.

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios
Halloween Horror Nights is a fan favorite amongst locals and tourists alike. While it’s not typically suitable for the youngsters, it’s a great time for adults and anyone with teenage children. You’ll find multiple “scare zones” where you’ll step foot into what looks like another world where creepy characters wander around. After walking through scare zones, be sure to hop in line for one of the houses! This year they have houses based off The Haunting of Hill House, Beetlejuice, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and so much more. You’ll be amazed at the attention to detail (that is if you can manage to focus on the details while being terrified).
After you’ve been scared, you’ve probably worked up an appetite. Good news is, Halloween Horror Nights has some delicious options for you to snack on while you take a break from screaming! Mr. Clean Can recommends the pizza fries, and for something sweet, the Dr. Pinetti’s Confetti Battered Oreos. Grab your ticket today!
Goblins & Giggles at Gaylord Palms
Chock-full of fun for everyone in the family, Goblins & Giggles at Gaylord Palms is a must! There are so many things to do and see at this event, you may want to visit a couple of times, or even spend the entire weekend at the resort. We recommend booking the Cookie Decorating and Storytime with Morgana for the kids! Morgana the Witch welcomes you in to help her decorate her seasonal treats while she tells you a story. After this, be sure to check out the Jack-o’-lantern Walk. On this walk, you’ll find creatively carved Jack-‘o-lanterns, and what makes this even better is that it’s free and you’re able to walk through it daily!
Adults, be sure to head over to the Wicked Brews Spookeasy for some spooky cocktails and mocktails! It’s also a family friendly area, so parents, you can bring your kids with you! See everything you can experience at Goblins & Giggles by heading over to Gaylord Palms’ website!
