Watch Your Favorite Holiday Movies

What better way to get into the holiday spirit than watching your favorite Christmas or holiday inspired movies?! Not only will seeing these movies make you feel those warm, fuzzy feelings you get at this time of year, but you may also even experience some feelings of nostalgia from holidays before!

Visit a Theme Park

One easy way to immediately feel holiday cheer is by visiting one of the theme parks in Orlando during the holiday season. Mr. Clean Can especially loves making a visit to Magic Kingdom at this time of year to see the decorations, especially the beautiful Christmas tree you see as soon as you walk in! If you’re able to, we highly recommend taking the family to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!

Create New Family Traditions

Family traditions are one of the best ways to immediately feel the cheer of the holiday season. If you don’t have any traditions with your family that you take part in at this time of year, it’s never too late to start! You and the family could decorate the house together while listening to your favorite holiday songs and baking cookies. It’s always fun for you and the kids to assign them each something special to do every year. For example, your kid could always be the one to put the topper on the tree, or to set out a specific special decoration in the house!

Check Out Local Events

There are usually tons of fun holiday themed events for you and the family to check out that everyone will enjoy! Whether it’s driving around to see Christmas lights, or going to see a play, there will be something out there that will be fun for everyone. In the Orlando area, we recommend Christmas at Gaylord Palms. They have ICE! which allows you to step into a chilly winter wonderland full of ice sculptures of your favorite characters. This year, you’ll find sculptures of characters from the beloved Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
