That’s 87 days packed full of delectable eats, spectacular music and more. This year marks the festival’s 24th year of bringing international tastes center stage.
Cook alongside celebrity chefs, roll up some candy sushi, or follow the latest football stats at an ESPN Tailgate Tasting. To help you plan your trip, here’s a look at what you can expect during the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
New Arrivals on the 2019 Epcot Food & Wine List
Go ahead and taste your way around the world with familiar favorites like a Bratwurst Pretzel Roll from Germany or stop for some Passion Fruit Cheesecake in Hawaii. Maybe a bowl of Frothy Ramen from Japan will hit the spot.
This year, new kiosks include the Appleseed Orchard where you can find apple inspired beers, ciders, cocktails and light bites to eat. Here, you can treat the kids to a non-alcoholic Frozen Apple Pie drink.
Another newbie is the Alps Marketplace where you can find venison stew or treat yourself to a savory Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese plate.
Or head to the new Sommerfest kiosk for a Frangipane Peach Tart to satisfy that sweet tooth. Whatever you’re looking for, there’s something for everyone to delight in.
Seminars, Scavenger Hunts and More Fun Activities
Get the kids to go on Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt featuring all new hiding places. Then, make sure to stop in to make some Candy Sushi out of all things sweet. This fun activity happens at Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion daily at 3:30 and 5:30.
For football fans, sign up for ESPN’s Tailgate Tasting happening on select Sundays. There, you’ll enjoy 45 minutes of pairing delicious grub and drink inspired by the cities of the football teams playing that Monday.
Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It! is a hands-on workshops held on select Mondays and Thursdays through November 14th. Take this time to work alongside professional chefs, mixologists and bakers. Sunday Brunch with the Chef series happens in the World Showplace Events Pavilion from September 1st to November 17th. Grab a bite to eat with a celebrity chef and discover their tricks for their food and their success.
Finally, don your track suit and join the 2019 Epcot Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon happening on the weekend of October 31st. Enjoy all the Disney entertainment, special race menu and the exclusive Post-Race Party for runners and their guests.
The 2019 Epcot Musical Lineup
This year’s musical event, Eat to the Beat Concert Lineup, features stars like the Plain White T’s, Everclear, Postmodern Jukebox and more. Dine at select restaurants and enjoy the live 30 minute performances. Shows happen at the American Gardens Theater 3 times daily. Find specific show times and the full lineup here.
You can also enjoy an interactive Disney du Jour Dance Party. Special guests will appear every weekend including fan favorites like Meg Donnelly from the Disney Channel original movie, “Zombies”.
