Fall in Central Florida might not come with changing leaves and sweater weather right away, but there are still plenty of ways to get into the season.
From pumpkin patches and corn mazes to trick-or-treating at the zoo, local farms and communities have packed the 2026 calendar with family-friendly events. If you’re looking for something to do with the kids this fall, here are a few Central Florida festivals worth checking out.
Southern Hill Farms Fall Festival in Clermont
The 2026 Fall Festival runs on select days through November 22. Activities include a corn maze, carnival rides, a petting zoo, farm wagon rides, pumpkins, u-pick flowers, live music, food trucks, and plenty of seasonal treats.
Tickets are required for guests ages 3 and older and need to be purchased online before arriving, so this is one outing you’ll want to plan ahead.
Good for: Families looking for a full day of classic fall activities.
Amber Brooke Farms Fall Festival in Eustis
Amber Brooke Farms offers another chance to spend a fall day outside without leaving Central Florida.
Its 6th Annual Fall Festival runs through November 22 and features pumpkins, sunflower fields, tractor rides, farm animals, jumping pillows, playgrounds, a slide hill, games, and other kid-friendly attractions. Some activities require an additional fee.
With so many activities in one place, it’s a good option when you’ve got kids with different interests and energy levels.
Good for: Younger kids and families who love hands-on farm activities.
Great Scott Farms Fall Festival in Mount Dora
The Mount Dora farm’s Fall Festival runs Saturdays and Sundays through November 15. Admission includes its seven-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, jumping pillow, castle playground, Super Slide, farm tours, corn pit, games, and more.
There’s also a farm market and food available, making it easy to turn the visit into a full afternoon.
Good for: Families who want a traditional farm-style fall day.
Zoo Boo Bash at the Central Florida Zoo
Halloween fun doesn’t have to be scary.
The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens in Sanford is bringing back Zoo Boo Bash on October 17 and 18, October 24 and 25, and October 31. Kids can wear their costumes, visit trick-or-treat stations, play games, enjoy not-so-scary decorations, and still spend the day checking out the animals. Activities are included with Zoo Boo Bash admission.
It’s an especially good choice for younger children who want the fun of Halloween without anything too spooky.
Good for: Costumes, candy, and animal-loving kids.
Mount Dora Fall Festival
The city’s free Fall Festival is scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m. and includes live music, kids’ activities, seasonal entertainment, food and drinks, a Parade of Scarecrows, and a drone show.
You can make an evening of it by walking around downtown, grabbing something to eat, and enjoying the festivities without having to buy admission tickets for the whole family.
Good for: A budget-friendly fall evening with the kids.
Make the Most of Fall in Central Florida
Fall weekends fill up quickly, so check event websites before heading out. Dates, hours, ticket availability, and activities can change, and some farms require tickets in advance.
And after a weekend of pumpkins, hayrides, sticky treats, and everything else fall brings, there’s nothing wrong with taking one household chore off your list.
Clean Cans professionally cleans, sanitizes, and deodorizes your trash and recycling cans right at the curb, so you can spend a little more of your weekend enjoying the season and a little less of it scrubbing trash cans.
