Not Your Typical Pumpkin

We’re sure many of you have carved pumpkins before, but did you know there are many other ways to decorate pumpkins?! For example, one unique way to decorate a pumpkin is to use colorful or patterned duct tape to wrap your pumpkin in! Each family member can choose their favorite patterned duct tape to decorate their pumpkin with, and then you can add on any other decorations you wish, such as googly eyes. Another fun and different way to decorate pumpkins for Halloween is to create “mummy pumpkins“. All you’ll need is a pumpkin, some gauze, hot glue gun, and some googly eyes, and/or markers to make a face! Decorating pumpkins with the family is fun because it allows each family member to show their personality on their pumpkin!

Crafts You Can Eat!

What’s better than crafting? Being able to eat what you crafted! One of Mr. Clean Can’s favorite edible crafts is spider cookies! All you need are some sandwich cookies, pretzel sticks, candy corn, marshmallows and black frosting. Once you put everything together, the end product is adorable, and delicious! Another edible craft you and the kids can make that will allow for each of you to show your creativity is monster marshmallows! What you’ll need for this craft are some marshmallows, lollipop sticks, candy eyeballs, and candy melting chocolate in various colors! From here, just let your imagination and creativity run wild! Each person can make a fun monster marshmallow of their own.

Crafts You Can Make Without a Trip to the Store

If you are looking for crafts you can make with items you probably already have around the house, we’ve got you covered! Monster puppet sticks are fun to make, and you and the kids can use them to put on a Halloween themed puppet show! If you have cupcake liners, construction paper, glue and a stick to put the puppet on, you’re basically all set! You and the family will love creating your own monster and coming up with names for them! Along with monster puppets, another fun craft you can make calls for something we can almost guarantee you have in your home…toilet paper rolls! By using that toilet paper roll that’s left after all of the toilet paper is used, you can create Halloween characters! You’ll also need some paint, googly eyes, and other crafting materials necessary for creating your favorite Halloween character. From vampires to Frankenstein, you can create endless toilet paper roll characters!
